Steps

  1. Stand in Mountain Pose
  2. Bend right knee and draw foot toward glutes
  3. Reach back and grip right foot with right hand
  4. Draw foot down into hand while extending left arm forward
  5. Keep hips level and square
  6. Hold 5 breaths

Tips

Use a wall for balance. Keep the standing leg's knee slightly bent.

What if I cannot reach my foot in Standing Bow?
Use a strap looped around the foot and hold both ends. This achieves the same benefits while building toward the full expression.
