Steps

  1. Stand in Mountain Pose
  2. Lift right leg, hug knee to chest
  3. Place hand on big toe or use a strap
  4. Extend leg forward, keeping hips level
  5. Fold torso forward toward leg if available
  6. Hold 5 breaths

Tips

Use a strap if you cannot reach your toe. Keep the extended leg active.

Can I do this pose against a wall for balance?
Yes, practicing near a wall helps balance. Eventually try the middle of the room to build more stability.
