Low Lunge Twist (Parivrtta Anjaneyasana)

A revolved low lunge that combines hip flexor opening with a deep spinal rotation, detoxifying and energizing the entire torso.

📋 How to Do It

From low lunge with right foot forward, lower left knee. Place left hand on floor inside right foot. Inhale to lengthen spine. Exhale, rotate torso right, extending right arm toward the ceiling. Stack shoulders. Hold, then switch sides.

💡 Tips

Ground the back knee firmly. Use the bottom hand as a lever to rotate more deeply. Keep the front knee stacked over the ankle. Breathe into the twist on each exhale.

Hold 5-8 breaths each side
