A standing balance pose opening the side body while requiring full body coordination. Builds strength, balance, and body awareness.
Strengthens ankles, legs, and core, improves balance and coordination, opens hips and chest, stretches the side body.
From Triangle Pose, bend the front knee, bring the front hand to the floor 12 inches forward. Lift the back leg parallel to the floor, stacking hips. Extend the top arm skyward. Focus gaze on the floor or upward. Hold 30-60 seconds.
