Ananda Balasana
A supine hip opener mimicking the natural pose of a happy baby. Gently releases the lower back, sacrum, and hips.
Releases lower back and sacrum, opens hips, gently stretches inner groin, calms the nervous system.
Lie on back. Bend knees, draw them toward chest. Grip the outer edges of the feet (or backs of thighs/calves). Flex feet toward ceiling, pull knees toward armpits. Rock gently side to side. Hold 1-3 minutes.
