Halasana
A deep inversion lowering the legs over the head to the floor. Halasana stretches the spine and neck while calming the nervous system.
Deeply stretches the spine and neck, stimulates the thyroid, calms the nervous system, relieves backache and fatigue.
From Shoulder Stand, slowly lower legs overhead toward the floor. Keep hands on the back for support or clasp hands together. Press the backs of the arms into the mat. Do not turn the head. Hold 1-5 minutes. Come out slowly through Shoulder Stand.
