A seated straddle stretch opening the inner thighs and hamstrings. Also a preparation pose for advanced inversions.
Deeply stretches inner thighs and hamstrings, opens hips, stimulates abdominal organs, calms the mind.
Sit with legs extended in a wide V-shape (90-160 degrees apart depending on flexibility). Inhale to lengthen spine, exhale to fold forward from the hips. Walk hands forward on the mat. Hold 1-3 minutes with relaxed breathing.
