Parivrtta Trikonasana
A standing twist combining the stability of Triangle Pose with deep spinal rotation. Strengthens legs, opens hips, and detoxifies the spine.
Improves spinal mobility, strengthens legs, stretches hamstrings and IT band, stimulates abdominal organs through rotation, improves balance.
From Warrior I position, straighten the front leg. Reach the opposite hand down to the shin or floor beside the front foot, extending the top arm skyward. Keep hips level and twist from the thoracic spine. Hold 5-8 breaths each side.
