The 'king of poses' — a full inversion balancing on the crown of the head with support from the forearms. Requires preparation and practice.
Strengthens arms, shoulders, and core, improves balance and focus, increases blood flow to the brain, builds confidence.
Interlace fingers on the mat, place the crown of the head in the cup of hands. Lift knees off the floor, walk feet in until hips stack over shoulders. Slowly lift legs. Build this pose over months — use a wall until balance is established. Never force this pose.
